Always turn up when they say they will which is very appreciated.
Left the site clean and tidy after completing a great job with both the tree removal and stump grinding. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Garwood’s again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had three very large trees removed by Garwood Tree Services at my residential address about a year ago. Ryan did a very fair quote up for me and the boys did a fantastic job of dropping all the trees. I'd recommend this company to anyone thinking of getting rid of some trees anywhere in The Scenic Rim area. They are fast, honest and above all safe. Thanks Garwood Tree Services!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Garwoods turned up on time and were very efficient with the process of removing a large tree close to the shed. Every part of the work was handled professionally. The area was left very tidy. This is the second time we have used Garwoods and I highly recommend their services. Thanks again.

Mitchell Shire Council permit & canopy rule guide

Wallan and Beveridge sit on the Melbourne boundary line, leading to confusion between Mitchell Shire and Hume City council rules. Under the Mitchell Planning Scheme, canopy tree removals are regulated under Clause 52.37.

Clause 52.37 canopy tree thresholds & exemptions

Canopy tree definition
A permit is generally required to remove, destroy or lopped a canopy tree with a height exceeding 5 metres, a trunk circumference exceeding 0.5 metres (at 1.3m above ground), or a canopy width exceeding 4 metres.

VicSmart 10-day fast-track
Our certified arborists prepare compliant documentation for VicSmart permit applications, guaranteeing a council decision within 10 business days.
